My wonderful wife gave me the shipping notice for the Mosaic Lunceford set and the new Trombone Shorty CD to tide me over until the Mosaic arrives. We're taking our time with the new CD - we're about 3/4 of the way through the recording process. It will include one of my originals ("Doina Blues") and two of my arrangements of traditional tunes - one Yemenite and one Sephardic. (Y'all can Google those terms.) I'm glad you like the first Afro-Klezmer Orchestra CD, but I think that the new one will be light-years ahead of the first one. Quote
