I would like to take this opportunity to extend a Happy Thanksgiving to all my new friends here at Organissimo.

I'd also like to extend to all...A HEARTY HANDCLASP ...for the warm welcome I've received here at my new HOME!!

In short: CLASP !!

I hope you all enjoy your CARVING OF THE FESTIVE BIRD

...and keep in mind...THE WING IS THE BEST PART

Are you by chance the legendary drummer Danny D'Imperio? I met you in the late 70's in GR Michigan at a Woody Herman concert...

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends south of the line.

We in Canada are more sensible. We have Thanksgiving in October, so that we have enough time to forget that we had turkey for days and days, before we, once again, have turkey for days and days at Christmas.

But, I'm thankful for all my friends here. For myself, every time I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror to see that I'm still reflected there, I'm very thankful. :D

Sage words, Patricia--good ones to live by.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody--stateside and elsewhere!

Thanksgiving should be interesting this year. We're eating with my wife's family (first Thanksgiving for me not eating with my family). Tonight we had a little pre-Thanksgiving get together and her brother-in-law (staunch conservative), father-in-law (liberal) and uncle (staunch liberal) got into it pretty good re: Bush and Iraq.

I thought some fists were going to be thrown for a minute!!!

Even if your life sucks, as long as you'e alive there's a chance for it to get better, so be thankful for that, like Patricia says.

On the other hand, if you're an edible fowl, you're pretty much s.o.l.....
