The Magnificent Goldberg
Cardiff Devils' uniform isn't quite as garish, but they're only 3rd in the Elite League at present MG

B. Clugston
Are these, like, special occasion uniforms? Please tell me that they are... The very top photo, the V uniform, was the Vancouver Canucks uniform for part of the 1980s. The home version looked like an Oh Henry bar. Some of them are some of them are or were the regular one, then again wonder what is the occasion to wear such awful design.
Dave James
Most of these are one offs used for some special promotion in a minor league hockey town. Kind of like hiring the Hanson Brothers to spruce up the Charlestown Chiefs. The only legit NHL sweaters are the infamous Canuck "V", the Phoenix Coyotes, Anaheim Mighty Ducks and the Canadian's "CAC" showing Andre Kovalev's name on the back. That's a throwback jersey Montreal wore once or twice a couple of seasons ago. Several of the pictures are of European teams where the sell advertising right on the jersey. They do that with basketball too. Up over and out. Edited October 28, 2009 by Dave James

Yes - that's what we do here. After all, ice hockey isn't terribly popular here, so the teams need mucho sponsorship. MG

Dave James
Check out this awesome stick work: Fancy stick work. I've seen this. That kid is nine (9) years old! I played hockey for 12 years and I couldn't even dream about a move like that. Up over and out.
mikelz777
I like later in the clip when they show the goalie reaction. He's just standing there like, "What the....?!?". Edited October 28, 2009 by mikelz777
