king ubu Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 The new edition of French "Jazz Magazine/Jazzman" (they merged a few months ago) has a disc with a few unreleased tracks! ha, since posts created within a short time are merged into one post, both attachments (more than 100KB) are in one post now! funny! brownie Posted December 4, 2009 Author Report Posted December 4, 2009 Thanks for mentioning that bonus CD. Did not realize this came with the latest issue. Going to purchase this month's 'Jazz Magazine'. I have not read the magazine in quite a long time! Quote
king ubu Posted December 4, 2009 Report Posted December 4, 2009 Thanks for mentioning that bonus CD. Did not realize this came with the latest issue. Going to purchase this month's 'Jazz Magazine'. I have not read the magazine in quite a long time! I've got a 2 year subscription for my birthday this April... I can't keep up reading it all, but I think it's quite a bit more interesting than any other jazz publication I can find at news shops here (including Downbeat of course). They cover quite a broad spectrum of jazz, and every now and then, they have these "Dossiers" (or had? Not sure they had one since the merger with Jazzman) with lots of photographs. The disc seems to be all music that's NOT on the official 2CD set (which I still need to buy), so it's very welcome! And plenty of Solal, too! Quote
