I have enough music selected for my slot at #96 that I can have two ready. Hardbopjazz, I know you posted this in the BFT Master List thread, but it really belongs here, so I'm putting the reply here. This is the second time in a few days I've had to disappoint someone. Assuming that the current level of interest in the BFT keeps up, we try to leave 12 months between BFT presentations by the same person. With that in mind, I've put you down for March of 2013, in addition to #96. That could change, depending on cancellations or a dearth of presenters in 2012, but you probably won't get moved up as much as #99, in any case. I'm therefore planning on moving the next few presenters up a month, so 2012 will look like this: #94 - jeffcrom - January, 2012 #95 - Hardbopjazz - February, 2012 #96 - Spontooneous - March, 2012 #97 - king ubu - April, 2012 #100 - Dr J, who presented the very first O forum BFT - July, 2012 down the road: BillF - September, 2012 Hot Ptah - November, 2012 Hardbopjazz, Spontooneous and king ubu, please post a response to let me know you're okay with this. I won't change the "offical" master list until I hear from you. And Berigan, if you're out there and you still want to do the January test, let me know right away. I'm planning on posting my signup thread this weekend. And we need BFT presenters for May and June, as well as most of the months beyond July. If you've never presented a blindfold test, read the FAQ and feel free to PM me with questions or concerns. I'll be glad to help any way I can. We try to make sure the same person doesn't present the BFT twice in a 12-month period, but otherwise, the available months are open to anyone. I just put Thom Keith in the August spot. And to spread things out, I want to keep the policy that nobody presents more than one BFT in a twelve-month period. If we ever get to the point where there aren't enough presenters, that policy may have to go out the window, but for now I think it's a good idea.
