I never worked with Cindy personally, but it sounds like she was first chair all the way. Someone who has had dealings with her should send her a link to this thread. I'm sure she'd appreciate all the good thoughts that have been expressed here.

Up over and out.

I mentioned this thread to her in a conversation we had today. She was very appreciative, and assured me that she'd be reading it.

Good thing we have to forum police to judge each and every post for its worth based on a complicated formulae of whether or not they like the poster.

Or maybe we could have posters create a complicated formula to police themselves so that they don't feel the need to post each and every though that enters their head???

Or, the post could have been genuinely funny and we were expressing our appreciation. Is that a bad thing?

It's not a bad thing. Look I try to stay out of the daily machinations of the board but I feel a need to respond. Yes, Allen is one of the few board members that I've had the pleasure to meet with and share a drink. However, just because I've met him offline that doesn't mean that I automatically give all of his posts a "pass". Please give me some more credit than that.

I don't quite get the joke... OJC as in "Offensive junger Christen"?

I'm not sure if you are being facetious but.... OJC = Original Jazz Classics. Surely you remember a few years ago right after OJC was acquired by Concord there was a thread here about a long time female employee(Terri Hinte) that had been let go. So I found it rather humorous that Allen tied those two threads together. As I said in my previous post YMMV.

Thanks, now I get it.... of course I first thought of OJC, but I could make no sense out of that because I didn't think of the Terri Hinte firing... sorry for being a bit slow these days, but my head's just too full with crappy stuff.

Just wanted to let everyone know that today is Cindy's last day at Mosaic, which will never be the same without the exceptional customer service she provided, and the way she had of making us feel like part of the "family".

Dropped Cindy a line

Her response:

Dear Jeff,

Thank you for your email!

I appreciate your kind words and continued support.

It was an honor and my pleasure to have been able to help you.

Yes, I will have to read the posts on Organissimo.

I Wish You All of the VERY Best!

Cindy

(A very classy lady-wish customer service was half as good elsewhere!)
