From Philadelphia, 6' tall with a model's stunning good looks and a voice that stops you in your tracks, what's not to like? She was more or less (mostly more, IMO) the Whitney Houston of her day and was actually dropped from Arista Records when they signed Whitney in the early '90's. Unfortunately, she was tormented by multiple mental problems throughout her all too brief life and chose suicide in 1995 at the age of 46. Here are a couple of videos you might enjoy.
