Matthew Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Happy birthday bro, hope you're listening to some Gene Harris tonight. Quote
Dan Gould Posted September 15, 2009 Report Posted September 15, 2009 Thanks to all; not the greatest birthday due to our financial state but I got a nice dinner with my wife, I've got MLB.TV for the rest of the season so I can watch the Sox cruise into the playoffs (yeah right!) and I've still got some requested CDs en route, including that Leo's Five Ace reissue that Sangrey talked up a while back. Oh, and I still have a Coldstone Creamery birthday ice cream coming to me sometime this week. Quote
JohnS Posted September 19, 2009 Report Posted September 19, 2009 Belated Birthday Greetings Dan. Hope you had a great day. Quote

Quincy Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 Happy birthday - FB told me though I realize you're AWOL there. ;-) Just a month ago I was in your old stomping ground on Delmar Blvd in University City, MO. Not sure if you know it, but it has been heavily gentrified over the past several years. Quite a shock for me who used to take 100+ mile road trips there in the early '80s for Vintage Vinyl visits! VV is of course still there (you knew that), though the location from circa '80 has changed. Actually I've visited that area twice this year, and lemme tell ya, no surprise but April is much more pleasant than August for walking around. Quote
