CJ Shearn
Picked this up today. Upon first listening, this is good stuff. Holland and Potter really have a lock, and I haven't heard much Gonzalo Rubalcaba since "Discovery" but he's matured nicely as an improviser. Potter's tune "Minotaur" is a killer, it has a vamp section thats very reminiscent of Wayne's recent quartet stuff. Very nice record. Eric Harland is definitely one of my fav drummers right now, the way he applies tabla like ideas to a full kit is very cool. Bluerein
Yep I did. Sounded great on the first run through. Need to listen to it again at home. It's mid-priced over here in good ol Europe (around 12 euro's) so it should be selling quite well over here.
