Me too. I somehow am bothered by "Prez" because all my earliest encounters have been "Pres."

I've seen it "Prez" as much as I've seen it "Pres"--in fact, just this morning at my friend's record shop I came across a couple of Lester records that used the "Prez" version in the title. Seems like it basically boils down to user preference, rather than there being one canonical spelling.

My preference is "Pres"---plus that's the correct spelling.
