"Baubles...bangles...And them coo coo beads" - from "Baubles, Bangles and Beads" on "Come Dance With Me."

Probably should be spelt "koo koo", as in "kooky/kookie" -- a definite '60s word, meaning "nutty, crazy (or maybe Krazy!)"

I remember the '60s, even if I was there...

No -- "cuckoo."

I dunno, Larry -- that's just a clock (and a boring one, according to Harry Lyme). Surely the Chairman of the Board would expect his own spelling...

Geez -- to be "cuckoo" means to be "nutty." Consult a dictionary.

"Wanna meet on Saturday, we'll pick out the foinechah?"

Which tune and which album, please.

What's the on the Strangers In The Night album, on "My Baby Just cares For Me". about "like walkin' round without shorts" or something like that?

You got it:

"My baby's not much for sports; Like walkin' 'round without shorts."

Uhhh.....OK.

"Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight."

Same track, same album.

Yes, clearly that's where it comes from...but in Sinatra-speak, definitely spelled "koo-koo."

"...And stars fractured 'bama last night..."

from "Stars Fell on Alabama" on "A Swingin' Affair."

Always thought that was a particularly brazen piece of lyrical effrontery.
