'94 Walsh (Conn) or '00 "Rudy" (RVG), any strong opinions here? wish i could shop for vintage vinyl for this, but no. thanks for any help

I bought my dad a copy of the RVG when it came out and there were some spots of digital click and flutter. Dunno if that's on previous issues or not.

No help here; I've never heard the Conn. But that's one hell of an album!

Had the Conn, bought the RVG, played it for a minute, took it out and dumped the Conn. Not sure I finished the disc but will tonite to see if I have problems Cliff reports.

BTW, I had the same reaction with the RVG of Hill's Compulsion recorded around the same time.

Me too. Love this album and love the RVG even more. Major improvement over the Conn. And neither the case, it has the rare appearance of Alan playing with Wayne on the same album!!!
