Matthew
I'm not a big C & W fan by any means, but I do have the Ray Price Bear Box Set -- he's that good.

Matthew
I always loved the way Ray Price's voice was recorded during these "Honky Tonk Years," it just sound so powerful, yet delicate at the same time, if that makes any sense. In fact, the way his music was recorded during that 1950-1966 era is so unique and powerful, it's like the recording counsel was cranked to 10 across the board. The Cherokee Cowboys were nothing to sneeze at either.
