How is the Sonny Red twofer?

Can anyone recommend this I believe Fantasy release with two titles on it ?with grant green. Can't remember the details. Moonriver is the first cut. thanks

If you dig Sonny Red, it's a sure thing. The supporting casts are all in quite good form.

If you don't dig Sonny Red, it's probably the one set you'll not mind having in your collection. Probably his most "controlled" playing, technically. on record, and that seems to be the one aspect of his playing that bothers some people.

the only thing I heard of him was his Out of the Blue lp which I loved and sure enough is a rare and expensive vinyl piece.

I like it. What's not to like: Sonny Red, Blue Mitchell and Grant Green. Even if you're not the hugest Sonny fan, I still think it's a good pick up.
