connoisseur series500 Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Undergroundagent would like a poll to see if the majority would like for him to stick around.
jacknife Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 (edited) I voted Yes but only since there wasn't a choice for: yes, but only if he "polishes up the personality a bit" Edited November 18, 2003 by jacknife
wolff Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Seems like Undergroundagent can 'take it' as well as 'dish it out'.
jazzbo Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I couldn't find a "HELL YEAH" option, so voted yes.
undergroundagent Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 yes, but only if he "polishes up the personality a bit" Don't count on it chief! To quote a once famous rapper: "I am what I am, and I do what I do...". I'll leave it to some of the old school heads to figure out who recited that line.
Chuck Nessa Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 (edited) Stop the damn poll. This is an ego trip for everyone involved and could turn REALLY ugly. Not a single person in this series of exchanges comes out "clean" by my standards. As someone who pisses people off from time to time (and I try to sell stuff to all here B) ) I think this is all crap. If anyone wants to leave - GO. If you really want to stay - SHUT UP. Time to drop all this stuff and get back to music. Edited November 18, 2003 by Chuck Nessa
undergroundagent Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Stop the damn poll. This is an ego trip for everyone involved and could turn REALLY ugly. Not a single person in this series of exchanges comes out "clean" by my standards. And so my prophecy comes true.
AfricaBrass Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I consider both, undergroundagent and jazzhound, valuable members of this community, just as I consider every single person who participates in these forums. That's what keeps me coming back. I hope that no one chooses to leave. Heck, I hope everybody tells a friend about this place. The more, the merrier!
Jazzmoose Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Undergroundagent, you know that as far as this brouhaha goes, I'm on your side. But this poll stuff just strikes me as silly. I want you to stay, but that's your decision, not everyone elses. In case there's a misunderstanding here, I want Jazzhound to stay as well.
.:.impossible Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 And so my prophecy comes true. ¿que?
.:.impossible Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 Without getting too involved in this thing , I am on Chuck's side.
Jazzmoose Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 And so my prophecy comes true. ¿que? 1st undergroundagent, chapter 6, verse 4: "Yea, and verily, a Nessa shall come from the east and cast doubt on the foolish enterprise."
connoisseur series500 Posted November 18, 2003 Author Report Posted November 18, 2003 To quote a once famous rapper: "I am what I am, and I do what I do...". I'll leave it to some of the old school heads to figure out who recited that line. Dodo Green?

Michael Fitzgerald Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 A Nessa from the EAST? Mike (who hasn't the faintest idea what all this is about and is pretty sure he doesn't really care)
Rooster_Ties Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 And so my prophecy comes true. ¿que? To some extent, this has become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Not entirely, but this all could have been handled differently (by all the parties involved). I think undergroundagent should stay, but I also think he should develop some thicker skin. He is who he is, and that's fine by me. But others are gonna be who they are, and sometimes that's gonna result in conflict. And leaving when there's conflict, means that periodically you may end up having to leave a number of places like this, over the years - and usually (I would suggest) unnecessarily. I think undergroundagent should stay... ...but stay or go, I think we ought to stop yammerin' on about it. (And yeah, I've done some yammerin' about this too – and I’m officially stopping with this very post.)
Brad Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I'm with Chuck on this. Separately, it doesn't take too much brains to figure out who voted no.
Man with the Golden Arm Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 A Nessa from the EAST?
Rooster_Ties Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 A Nessa from the EAST? couldn't see the pic from the IMG you gave (at least not here in the thread)...
J.A.W. Posted November 18, 2003 Report Posted November 18, 2003 I'm with Chuck - this is too silly for words, so...
