Up because I just noticed how amazing he is on Big John Patton's Understanding (Disc 3 of Mosaic Select).

He's also on Patton's "Boogaloo", also from 1968 (but unreleased until about 1995) -- which is maybe my all-time favorite Patton date.

And I never realized (until I just looked) he had not just one, but THREE leader dates.

Here's everything that the AMG is aware that he's on, but no bio (though all three of his leader-dates do have reviews).

this quote of alexander might explain some of his invisibility

Alexander would record three records in the early 1970's, two for Flying Dutchman and one for Atlantic, then dropped out of the music scene.
