papsrus Posted July 9, 2009 Report Posted July 9, 2009 This is at least two different guitars. The first a right-handed model. The last is a left-handed model without the inlay on the fretboard and a different bridge. IMO Quote

Hardbopjazz Posted July 10, 2009 Author Report Posted July 10, 2009 They are both made by Heritage guitars. Being lefthanded most guitar makers have a very limited selection of lefthanded guitars if any at all. Heritage makes just about any model for lefties too. Having sold my 3 arch tops years ago, if I decide to get back into playing I would go the route of Heritage. Quote
Hardbopjazz Posted July 10, 2009 Author Report Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) I had these in lefthanded models Gibson Charlie Christian model (mine was sunburst) Guild X-500 Guild Artist Award (the best sounding guitar I ever played. Edited July 10, 2009 by Hardbopjazz Quote
fasstrack Posted July 10, 2009 Report Posted July 10, 2009 (edited) I had these in lefthanded models Gibson Charlie Christian model (mine was sunburst) Guild X-500 Guild Artist Award (the best sounding guitar I ever played. I had 2 x-500s and loved them, and 1 Artist Award and hated it. It was new and sounded like my ass. Attilla Zoller put his pickup in, but it was beyond help. Gave it back and got an old Epi, which I loved, but the neck kept moving faster than the gas needle on a Camaro, so, alas, au revoir. Anyway, they are things of beauty, but if it sounds and plays good it is good, and the converse. Beauty's only lamination-deep. Edited July 10, 2009 by fasstrack Quote
