Chuck Nessa Posted July 11, 2017 Author Report Posted July 11, 2017 August, 50th Anniversary release of Lester Bowie's "Numbers 1&2" now in house for the discerning collector wanting to hear the original program as edited for lp (on cd). A curates egg for sure, but I had to do it. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted July 14, 2017 Author Report Posted July 14, 2017 Still prepping for the big five o. shirts will be on the website soon. Quote
paul secor Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 Surprising to see Revolver in the background. Or perhaps not. Quote
JSngry Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 How big up are those t-shirts gonna fit? Quote
JSngry Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 Do they size small? I'm down to a 2X if they're sized generously, but if not, a 3x will do. Hell, it'll do anyway. I like my tees loose, but not sloppy. Please tease the tees whenever you please, please. I'm in. Quote
BFrank Posted July 15, 2017 Report Posted July 15, 2017 Will there be a "bundle" offer for the CDs and T-shirt? Quote
jlhoots Posted July 25, 2017 Report Posted July 25, 2017 Nice ad in the Sept. DownBeat! When does the new Roscoe Mitchell get released? Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted July 25, 2017 Author Report Posted July 25, 2017 (edited) First, there will be a "bundle" offer for a shirt and Numbers 1 & 2 on the website soon. FWIW, the shirts are unisex, meant to be snug around the midsection. We are almost finished with the mix/edit of the new Roscoe - only one piece left. Pulling all the other stuff together has been a daunting task. I hope to have it available for Christmas, but am not certain. Watch this space. Edited July 25, 2017 by Chuck Nessa Quote

Chuck Nessa Posted August 2, 2017 Author Report Posted August 2, 2017 I have received one "complaint" about the sizing. All should be aware of this note on our website: Quote
JSngry Posted August 2, 2017 Report Posted August 2, 2017 Dave Liebman related the story of him complaining to Miles that he couldn't find anything interesting to do with some standard, like Stella or some such. Miles' advice was simple - "don't blame the tune, it's not the tune's fault". Not expecting a problem. It's not my chest that's expanded, but if a 3X is too tight, that's not the shirt's fault, right? Quote
JSngry Posted August 4, 2017 Report Posted August 4, 2017 Just tried on the 3X and my worst fears were realized....it fits perfectly! Also, new car smell and unwashed new t-shirt softness, are there two deeper yet more transient sensory pleasures to be had in this life? Other than the first line of the night, or any other such pleasure best left avoided? Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted August 4, 2017 Author Report Posted August 4, 2017 (edited) Great! Now I can start breathing again. The guys get shirts https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jfp7v3ZtPW8 Edited August 4, 2017 by Chuck Nessa Quote
mjazzg Posted August 5, 2017 Report Posted August 5, 2017 what's the shipping on a T to the UK? Website only seems to cater for US postage Quote

Website only seems to cater for US postage Shipping out of the country is nutso expensive. A shirt alone would cost $22.50 and I would subtract the cost of shipping domestically (about $3.50). The shipping per unit comes down to a more realistic level for 3 or 4 items. If you send an email to me I can quote rates for you. Quote
