epistrophy arts Posted April 24, 2009 Report Posted April 24, 2009 Peter Brotzmann USA Tour Spring 2009 La Belle Usine Presents : A Peter Brötzmann Trio/Duo/Solo USA Tour Spring 2009 Featuring Peter Brötzmann, Nasheet Waits & Eric Revis La Belle Usine will be presenting several dates of music featuring legendary German reedist Peter Brötzmann with Nasheet Waits & Eric Revis; starting at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle on April 28th and travelling tos everal venues throughout USA including Victory Grill Austin TX, Grinnell Concerts Iowa, Detroit, Empty Bottle Chicago, Claudia Cassidy Theatre Chicago, Art Alliance Philadelphia, Firehouse New Haven, Baltimore and concluding at the the Cake Shop NY on May 10th. Eight events will feature Nasheet Waits, Eric Revis voices and Brötzmann’s original free improvisational concepts. Three events will feature Peter Brötzmann & Nasheet Waits Duo. Three events will feature Peter Brötzmann Solo. I wish he'd consider playing a venue other than the Empty Bottle in Chicago, like any of them that support jazz and improvised music the other 364 days of the year. Oh well. Quote

I believe the concert proposal went to a lot of presenters all over the country. If you know of a capable/interested presenter in your area, please feel free to pass along their email to me or contact them yourself and let them know you would like to see Peter in your town. Quote
