Can't edit my topic

I was trying to edit my "April cd sale" in the Offering topic, and the Edit feature button is no longer there. Help?

The edit feature expires after a certain time limit. I'll see if this can be changed in particular forums, like Offering/Looking For.

Is this new? (Not being able to edit a post after a certain amount of time has passed.) If so, I'd much prefer the previous way--I just tried to edit a post in one of my Night Lights threads and was not given the option of doing so. In the past I've always been able to edit posts that are quite old.

Same here. More than a few times I've morphed the title and/or topic "sub-heading" as the content of a thread has morphed over time.

I don't understand (or like) this decision to decide which forums can or can't be edited.

I knew this would happen. Sorry to "punish" everyone for the action of one. I came up with a better solution, outlined in that thread.

Am I somehow overlooking the "Edit topic" button?  Just tried to edit an old post/topic in the Jazz Radio forum and could not get the edit function to appear.

It should drop down from those three dots in the upper right corner of the post.

Can you at least get the edit function to drop down from the three dots?

Looked at your profile and the thread itself and nothing looks amiss.

Try the old value menu of clear cache and reboot.

It's something with that particular thread.  I can edit in this thread, but only "report" and "share" display in that thread.  Not worth hunting down IMO since it is thread specific.  I actually just rebooted within the hour to apply Win 11 updates.

Ok, here's what's going on - Jim A has put in place a time limit on when someone can edit a post. They can only edit a post 60 minutes after posting it initially.

There was an internal matter, so if we have a lot of these unintended consequences, please raise your hand 8
