kinuta Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 German made brush used for scrubbing pans. The handle is supposed to act as a liquid soap dispenser but the soap flows all over the place making it necessary to refill the beast every second time it's used. After a short but unsatisfactory stint in our kitchen it was slung into the garbage. Good riddance to a piece most untypically shoddy German workmanship. Quote

BERIGAN Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 (edited) Tried a leaf-blower for the first time this past fall.... that's more work than just raking the leaves!!! But, what does one do with a sidewalk and a driveway??? A rake on concrete??? I love my leafblower for those jobs! Of course I have one of those (fairly) quiet cordless models. Dan Gould Posted March 17, 2010 Report Posted March 17, 2010 For maximum effectiveness of a leaf blower, you need to be surrounded by woodland, as my folks are. Its not so much work if you are just pushing all the leaves off the grass. I do remember when I worked at a Taylor Rental and brought home a push-style leaf blower that it was still a helluva lot work pushing it back and forth, heavier than the lawn mower for sure. But I still tolerated it better than the rake. Quote
