I wish that I could make it to that show (The Thing) but will have to settle for Steve Coleman's Five Elements tomorrow night. I've been wanting to hear Coleman live for years. Quote
Johnny E Posted April 8, 2009 Report Posted April 8, 2009 Thanks for coming last night Bill. I hope you enjoyed the show (and especially the new tunes). I thought Greg Ginn's stuff was pretty cool. Lots of guitar loops and pre-recorded bass and organ. Although that drummer was playimg pretty simple stuff, he had to play along to rigidly tempoed, pre-recorded stuff with unpredictable forms. THAT'S HARD! Lotsa fun. Quote
