Cliff Englewood
Buyers Beware!!! The profits from sales will go to the "Jews for Jesus who also nuke gay whales fund". Just an FYI. See, I'm just as funny.

Cliff Englewood
as what? As you of course, see, it's annoying when people post stupid shit in threads where you're trying to sell things, isn't it?
Niko
still marvelling at the two of you - who'd have thunk that such a distance can lie between the white cliffs and the city of dublin (and then, all this is just bumping the thread)
AllenLowe
well at least he admits his posts are stupid - I will give him points for self-honesty. But the problem with Organissimo is that people see our little feud and never really wonder why it started, or understand how it is based on Englewood's original unprovoked personal attack - (whch was his post in the thread where I spoke about my encounter with Wynton and Englewood leaped in to point out that the worst thing about the incident was that, since it happened to me, this forum "will never hear the fucking end of it.") I do tend to carry a grudge - but that was a gratuitous insult that required an apology - Edited March 31, 2009 by AllenLowe
aparxa
the real problem is that many of us do not care who, why, where it started. Just do not feed the beast and use the ignore list if needed, then we are educated enough to differenciate off-beat humour from personal attacks. AllenLowe
probably a good idea, but, no, in my experience here, people do not differentiate, nor do they seek the causes - and more importantly, they also hate a feud until it is one of their own - until they are attacked; in which case, they spare no effort to respond - Edited March 31, 2009 by AllenLowe
Cliff Englewood
I do tend to carry a grudge - but that was a gratuitous insult that required an apology - No it wasn't and no it didn't, I find you hilarious because you give it but you can't take it. Now this is a gratuitous insult that requires an apology, Allen Lowe is the Lillie Delk Christian of music analysis. Do you see the difference??? (BTW you spelt gratuitous incorrectly, just an fyi.) No, you haven't have you, I should have done something really classy and posted that you watch child porn instead, remember that one??? So please bugger off you little flea spec of intellect - That's a bit rich coming from someone with designs/dreams on becoming an academic but who currently works in insurance, don't you think??? Anyway, I know deep down "You're a Real Sweetheart", so much so in fact that "Last Night I Dreamed You Kissed Me", but "Was It a Dream?", I'd post more, but right now I'm "Too Busy!". Cliff Englewood
Just an fyi, there are no "White Cliffs of Dublin", you're thinking of the White Cliffs of Dover in England, an easy mistake for someone of advancing years. So does the footage of you and Wynton actually exist???, outside of your imagination that is.

ghost of miles
Everyone should buy the Devilin Tunes set if they don't have it. It's quite amazing. Yes indeed--family feudin' aside, these are some of the best various-artist jazz anthologies ever compiled.
AllenLowe
oh, we're just having some good, clean, family fun - actually, my sister is married to Cliff's half-cousin's older sister's fourth uncle's third cousin twice removed - so Cliff and I are actually related. And intermarriage has done wonders for the Englewood family - that's why he has 12 toes and a third arm - Edited April 2, 2009 by AllenLowe
