What do you guys think of Melody Gardot? I really like her smooth and soulful voice. I’m not gonna lie, her song “Who will comfort me” tugs at my heart. Haha. I think that my favorite artist of the moment is tenor player Donny McCaslin. His latest -- "Recommeded Tools" has been in heavy rotation on my turntables for some time now.

My favorite artist of the moment is Ombak. They have a new release due out in April. Trombone, guitar, bass, drums. Original compositions.

I did the artwork. My brother plays the bass.

Well, she's a bit mainstream à la Norah Jones, so if you're a purist or a bit snobbish, it does not sound cool like saying you enjoy Stockhausen or any stuff that about 30 people in the people in thew whole world are aware of.

That is why i wrote Stockhausen and any stuff instead of Stockhausen and any other stuff, Stockhausen is relatively well known,although not sure what kind of answers you'd get if you did a vox populi about him at your nearest street corner.
