flat5 Posted March 10, 2009 Report Posted March 10, 2009 (edited) Anyone know/remember who used to play B3 at the Haight-Levels in San Francisco in 1966? BTW, I was very lucky to be there when Roland Kirk sat at the organ and played a solo blues for about 15 minutes! It was very good. He sometimes played very full chords and changed the stops. Lots of different sounds. Edited March 10, 2009 by flat5 Quote

The Rep Posted March 11, 2009 Report Posted March 11, 2009 (edited) There use to be a programme on british TV , bbc 2, I think in the sixties with Georgie Fame, Billy Preston and Alan Price. All on the organ, they would play separately and as an Organ trio. Some great stuff. Edited March 11, 2009 by The Rep Quote
