Does anyone have info on the later life of Gene Williams, year of death? He was a co-founder of Jazz Information (1939-41), instrumental in the discovery of Bunk Johnson and a friend of Bill Russell (New Orleans). A graduate of Columbia University (approx. class of '38), he purportedly committed suicide. Thanks y'all.
