on back on lp , former lp owner "Nick Johnson" (rest his soul?) wrote in on the back, otis finch- tenor (who he?), joe romano- guitar, mickey simms- bass, ken smith- drums. he has a jan 28th 1947 date on it

forgot to put in, in my limited knowdlege with only 20 or 25 such lp items to my possession, i cant say for sure, but i'm pretty sure its an item from the infamous Boris Rose jazz nut extrodinaire/ but you can never be sure. did any of u guys ever buy his records in the ad in the back of the downbeat. did they have money orders back then? you should of mailed a money order in and bought some of these things. did any of you ever buy one of these in a store 2nd hand or buy one firsthand from the source.

Otis Finch...spent time in Detroit, mid-40s, joined Fletcher while the band was in Detroit. Son, "Candy" Finch, drummer. Actually, Fletcher picked up several Det cats at the same time - info detailed in Allen's marvelous "Hendersonia" p. 435
