neveronfriday Posted June 4, 2009 Report Posted June 4, 2009 Thanks for mentioning the page here, Hans. @Everyone else: I am looking for any original (!) - meaning not reformatted by anyone - text files, saved web pages, whatever ... - you might have of sets before # 142 (Woody Shaw). I have some of those that some people have "reconstructed" from other sources and whatnot, but I'd be interested if anyone has managed to save sth that was online on the Mosaic website (especially the very first 20 sets or so). The Internet Archive has not yielded that much re those early sets (or I'm too dumb ... quite possible) and so far, Mosaic has been a bit unresponsive (no problem with me ..., I'm quite sure they have better things to do). Maybe they did not publish these kinds of discographies on their earliest site(s)? Please help, if you can, by contacting me via PM. Thanks! Quote

(Are they still being made?) If you have an old mailing catalog, you could scan the marketing blurb introducing the set, and if you own the set itself you could scan the discography in the back of the booklet, including the extra CD sheet. That should give you everything you need (with Mosaic's blessing of course). Might be tough otherwise for Mosaic to find their old softcopies, if they ever had them. Probably in some ancient Word dialect on floppy buried in a long-forgotten file cabinet. Quote
