robviti
hi and happy holidays to you all. i'm looking for some info on a wonderful recording by guitarists mick goodrick and joe diorio called rare birds. i believe it was recorded in 1993 and released on the italian ram records label (rmcd4505). what i'd like to know is the exact date and location of the recording, the names of engineer(s) and producer(s), and also any editing or mastering info you might have. thanks very much in advance. Kevin Bresnahan
I searched the forums for any threads on Mick Goodrick and this is probably the best place to put this... well, I don't know if this right place to put this, or if I should even post it here on the forums at all but here goes... Mick Goodrick is very ill and is in a tough spot financially. He has Parkinson's Disease and it has progressed to the point where his mobility is very limited. He is now requiring constant professional care, medical equipment and medicines that are outside of his existing insurance coverage. He (or someone close to him) has started a Go Fund Me page to raise money to help with these medical bills. I won't post the link in case someone is worried that it might not be real, so if you are interested, go to www.gofundme.com and search for Mick Goodrick. I think this should be its own topic and posting the link to gofundme ought to be fine too.
RogerF
I've now started a separate thread on this in the Artists section including Mick's Go Fund Me page link. Thanks for posting this here first anyway Bresna, it is important.
