this is the 4 CD set, covering some 1953/54 concerts - incomplete as well, but as I wouldn't know where to find the music elsewhere, I got it ... I'm sure glad I never tried holding my breath for Verve/PolyGram/Universal bringing out the sequel(s) to their great 44-49 box - me face would shimmer in many colours now if I had ;)

Going back to the original question, I do feel it's a must buy as it showchases these legendary concerts and almost brings you into the concert house. Now, is it something I listen to all the time? No, but glad I have it.
