clifford_thornton Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 (edited) Some nice stuff here, I think, including a few Clean Feed and ESP-Disk titles which I have duplicates of. All are promos but few have been played more than a couple of times if at all. The tray cards may have hole punches or divots in the barcodes, but nothing horrendous. Please pay with Pay Pal; first two discs in the US are shipped free, international write and we'll figure out something cheap and zippy. UPDATE: Since it seems to be confusing for everybody, just PM me with your wants and we'll figure it out. First come, first served. This stuff is priced to move, but multiple (and larger) orders will benefit in some way. Thanks. Barnacled - Charles - (ESP) weird ROCK of some sort, I think $5 M41 – The Orbit of Sirius – (self-released CD-R) wild trio with Alvin Fielder, Chris Parker (p), Andrew Lamb (reeds) NOW $3 Ravish Momin – Sound Dissolving Sound – (Sachimay) solo percussion, $2 Yximaloo - Unpop - (ESP) NOT JAZZ, no idea what it is but why not take a chance? $5 Edited December 8, 2008 by clifford_thornton Quote

Nate Dorward Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 I'd go for the Bley, Tusques, Neidlinger x 2. Quote
robviti Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 so much for the "post first, then PM" policy. if i'd known the discs i wanted were already sold, i wouldn't have taken the time to listen to clips, post a reply, send a PM, etc. Quote
clifford_thornton Posted December 1, 2008 Author Report Posted December 1, 2008 Apparently you're right and it doesn't work seeing as how I got a huge inbox of PMs and no corresponding posts. Does that make me a bad seller? Quote
robviti Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 not necessarily "bad," but it does seem unfair to reward those who don't follow a rule that you set. btw, i like the post->pm idea. it gives other members a heads-up on what's probably gone and what remains, and also saves you the trouble of having to update your original post every time someone contacts you. i was just disappointed to miss out and wanted to let off a little steam. anyway, how could i stay mad at someone who uses the great clifford thornton as a handle. clifford_thornton Posted December 1, 2008 Author Report Posted December 1, 2008 Point taken and rules updated. I don't think there's an easy answer, as believe it or not, this isn't my day job and I haven't figured out a way in the time that I DO have. Quote
clifford_thornton Posted December 2, 2008 Author Report Posted December 2, 2008 Bump for the removal of some held items and a few late additions. Quote
clifford_thornton Posted December 2, 2008 Author Report Posted December 2, 2008 Bump for a few reductions and several items taken off hold. Quote
T.D. Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 PM sent on Carl Stone – Al-Noor – (intone) laptop/sample-based composition from an excellent Tokyo-based composer, NOT JAZZ, NOW $4 Quote
clifford_thornton Posted December 3, 2008 Author Report Posted December 3, 2008 Held items gone, any takers for the rest of it? Feel free to make an offer... Quote
clifford_thornton Posted December 8, 2008 Author Report Posted December 8, 2008 Any takers for the last of it? Quote
AndrewHill Posted December 9, 2008 Report Posted December 9, 2008 "Barnacled - Charles - (ESP) weird ROCK of some sort, I think $5" Saw this used in a store sometime back and couldn't make much from the credits. Is it psychadelic rock or something? Kinda like the Fugs or the Godz? Quote
clifford_thornton Posted December 9, 2008 Author Report Posted December 9, 2008 I have no idea. I haven't taken the "chance." Quote
