CJ Shearn Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 I have used my Grado's about a year, they've been great except for the grattle. I put them on this evening and found the left driver completely cut out after I tried a tip from the headfi forums to blow into the grill of the driver to reduce/eliminate grattle. What exactly happened? does it sound like something got disconnected inside the driver. I have a friend who is real into audio/repairing stuff and may have him take a look. These have been well cared for Quote
Man with the Golden Arm Posted December 1, 2008 Report Posted December 1, 2008 I've called Grado on some simple replacement parts, more than a half dozen years ago, and spoke with a very nice woman both times. Seemed like a real old fashioned operation with good people. She set me up with what I needed and waived shipping as I recall. WTF? grattle? just a specific Grado thing I see?? figured it was some savannah fed organic beef. Just give them a shout. And ypu might want to grovel. Quote
CJ Shearn Posted December 1, 2008 Author Report Posted December 1, 2008 thanks. I think I solved the problem as full fidelity returned. I think something was caught in the driver, thank you for the tip! Quote
