A few months back there was a thread on how to put up images on posts.

Can someone either bring this back or put a brief explanation of how to do this.

I seem to have hit and miss results - sometimes they come up, sometimes they won't load up (I've tried reducing the size). What type of images do they have to be? Why are they sometimes huge, sometimes small.

Yours, perplexed!

Once you find an image you'd like to include in a post:

RIGHT click on the image and you will see as an option PROPERTIES.

LEFT click on PROPERTIES and find ADDRESS.

HIGHLIGHT the ADDRESS, RIGHT click on the highlighted ADDRESS and LEFT click on copy.

---------

Within your Organissimo post, click on the IMG box.

RIGHT click and PASTE the copied ADDRESS into the IMG box and hit OK.

That should do it.

I think I've worked out the resizing bit.

Is the IMG box the main text box or the attachments box?

When I add attachments the always land at the end. How do you get image/text/image/text sequences.

Thanks for the help but I'm not quite there yet.

your post above is missing the .jpg at the end of the address. Also, the directions Chaney gave will only work for an image you find on the web or an image that is being hosted by Organissimo (such as your avatar.) It will not work for an image on your hard drive.

there is a button above the space you type your main message labelled "IMG." you would click on that button and paste the URL of an image you found on the web and the image would appear in the body of your text.

to get image/text/image/text you would:

type some text,

hit Enter

click on the IMG button and paste the address of your image

hit Enter

type some more text

hit Enter

click on the IMG button again, etc...
