Hey Everyone

Just wanted to let everyone know I just put out a brand new CD IN THE TRADITION. The CD features saxophonist Grant Stewart and John Swana on trumpet who both have many CDs out on Criss Cross. Grant has some on Sharp Nine as well. Bassist Neal Miner who is currently touring with vocalist Jane Monheit. Pianist Paul Hofmann and guitarist Bob Sneider round out the group. The CD features tunes by Sonny Clark, Hank Mobley, Tadd Dameron plus some originals by the band members. You can listen to samples at www.cdbaby.com/cd/melito3 The CD has been getting A LOT of airplay already all over the country and has been getting great reviews as well over the net on Jazz wax.com and AAJ.com.

"The CD features... Sonny Clark, Hank Mobley, Tadd Dameron"

I thought those guys were dead -

I said the CD features TUNES by Sonny Clark, Hank Mobley, Tadd Dameron NOT Sonny Clark, Hank Mobley and Tadd playing on it.

Hi Mike,

I very much liked your 3 previous CDs and was glad to find that you have another one now available.

I just ordered a copy from cdbaby.

Here in Tucson our PBS TV channel recently broadcast some of the concerts from the Rochester Jazz Festival. I watched the James Moody concert with you on drums. It was a good one.

I still recall when you and some friends dropped by my house to check out my record collection. Also the many times you hung out at my table during the record shows in Rochester.

Great to hear from you Peter! Thanks so much for buying my CDs! I hope you like this one.

Playing with Moody is always great! That was fun.

I miss you and your record collection and table at the shows here. I hope all is well with you and please keep in touch!
