papsrus Posted November 14, 2008 Report Posted November 14, 2008 That's very sad. It sounds so cliché, but wtf is wrong with people who would do this to another human being? Quote
chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 Crazy Tuba Guy. I can't say I ever had a fondness, or particularly cared, for him- but never would I have wished this fate upon him, and I do feel very bad. at the ballet, like at swan lake for example, there was crazy tuba guy, playing the bass part by himself outside after the show. Bom-Bom Bom Bom BOm boooooom bom bom- he was also in front of every rock concert at the colliseum and apparently he also made every sports event too, both at the seattle center as well as the mariners games. the last time i saw crazy tuba guy, it was sans tuba, at ballard bros cajun fish sandwich reastaurant, i looked up, saw him in his trademark funny hat, and thought "oh god, its crazy tuba guy". queen anne neighbourhood where this happneed is not exactly the heart of urban downtown, and it is very shocking that this happened right there. on a day to day basis you never see shit like that. a gang of 15 yr old boys....my god. they had to kill crazy tuba guy. fucking bullshit Quote
Johnny E Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 I would see him every time I'd go to a Mariners game. I remember one night after a few drinks before and during the game, me and a friend of mine were making requests - but he just ignored us and kept playing kept playing take me out to the ball game. The Tuba Man did seem to be slightly bent. He had a crazy gleam in his eyes. Not violent or mean, but more like he was on a different planet. What a sad situation. RIP Tuba Man . Quote
clifford_thornton Posted November 15, 2008 Report Posted November 15, 2008 It sounds as though he was autistic or Asperger's to me. Sad ending to a life clearly LIVED. Quote
