paul secor Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 Apologies. My bad. Got my brawls mixed up. The Knicks & Heat had a few - lots of bad blood after Riley went to Miami. Quote

Soulstation1 Posted May 19, 2009 Report Posted May 19, 2009 NBA Finals Trivia First year of the 2-3-2 Finals format? Ïf you know this without looking up You have baller status Debate at the bar about this the other night Quote
Aggie87 Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 Lakers are lucky to come out of that game with a win tonight, IMO. Nuggets lost it on that bad inbound pass. Otherwise it was anybody's game. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 (edited) Bodies were flying all over the court in the game tonight Thuggets let the lakers off the hook Melo was killing the lakers tonight # 24 scored 18 in the 4th and made some free throws to close it out Edited May 20, 2009 by Soulstation1 Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 (edited) Anyone see LBJ sitting on the three point line and make the shot at practice? His underhand half court shot is.freaking insane You'd be lucky to hit the backboard trying that trick Edited May 20, 2009 by Soulstation1 Quote

His underhand half court shot is.freaking insane You'd be lucky to hit the backboard trying that trick A friend of mine who lives in Boston told me that Chuck Person used to make shots while sitting on the bench during pregame warmups. He and Larry Bird used to try and play head games with each other. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 20, 2009 Report Posted May 20, 2009 IMO The Clippers shouldn't ever get another lottery pick again Quote

Free For All Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 WTF? Did you see that MF half-court shot that ended the first half???? Quote
Free For All Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 Great close game. Looks to be a very competetive series. Quote
Free For All Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 Ain't got no cable Did LBJ hit it? Mo Williams Quote
Noj Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 No one in the NBA has a player to matchup with LeBron--but the Cavs' big men have a tough time with Superman Howard, and the Cavs have no one to match up with Rashard Lewis. Hedo Turkoglu continues to impress down the stretch in games. The Magic are now 3-1 against the Cavs this year... LeBron should have taken it upon himself to score on that last shot, imho. Quote
papsrus Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 LeBron should have taken it upon himself to score on that last shot, imho. He was pretty much right under the basket when he passed the ball out to the perimeter for a 3-pointer (which they didn't need). Curious decision. Quote
Chalupa Posted May 21, 2009 Author Report Posted May 21, 2009 Shit, I fell asleep last night in front of the TV and the Cavs looked like they were on the way to a big victory. What happened? LBJ scored 49 points and they lost?? Quote
Soulstation1 Posted May 21, 2009 Report Posted May 21, 2009 I thought that Big Ben would get some extended minutes guarding D-Howard Quote
Chalupa Posted May 22, 2009 Author Report Posted May 22, 2009 David Stern must shitting bricks at the thought of a Orlando/Denver final. Quote

Jim Alfredson Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 Good game last night; just caught the last few minutes of the fourth quarter. Billups, as usual, made great decisions down the stretch. The Lakers, as a whole, did not. Quote
Noj Posted May 22, 2009 Report Posted May 22, 2009 It helped that the Lakers put the McNuggets in the penalty with nearly 5 minutes left. They earned about two actual buckets down the stretch, and the rest were from the charity stripe. Not so good for me to watch, the Lakers could have opened a bakery with all their turnovers. Quote
