undergroundagent Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 (edited) Open to offers for this title. I've never seen it around before, so I'm not sure what the going rate on it is, nor do I care. An OJC or two might suffice. Always looking for soul-jazz titles. jazzbo Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 This was Cecil's first recording session as a leader I believe. A very good session, I like early Cecil Taylor VERY much. I don't believe this is out of print. I looked at three online sources and found it available for purchase from all three! Quote
undergroundagent Posted October 28, 2003 Author Report Posted October 28, 2003 Lon, You're correct! Thanks for the heads-up. Quote
jazzbo Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 Certainly worth trading for in any case. Fascinating album to me. . . amazing piano and group feeling. Quote
jazzbo Posted October 28, 2003 Report Posted October 28, 2003 No, I've had a copy for some time now. I'm just singing its praises! Quote
Morganized Posted October 30, 2003 Report Posted October 30, 2003 I'll agree with Jazzbo on this one. I have it in a Japanesse pressing that is outstanding. It is very approachable Cecil Taylor. Quote
