Jim R
Before opening this, I expected the choices to be B.B., Albert, and Freddy. Gotta go with B.B., although at one time they were all pretty much equal for me.
BruceH
And of course, there's always Benny Carter, "The King."

BeBop
In my book, nothing better than Wardell Gray playing "The King" with the Basie band (or Octet).

Shrdlu
Jesus Christ, the King of Kings, of course - also not listed. Dropping (a long way) down to ones that aren't God, for me it's a toss-up between King James I (of England) [and VI (of Scotland)], who commissioned the final, perfect Bible in English in 1604 (that's why they tried to blow him up that year), and Queen Elizabeth I, whose wise rule saw things settle down in England after a lot of killing and other unrest. A great example of tolerance. Another high scorer would have to be Queen Victoria. You can tell how good she was by the way they always try to put her down - the latest feeble attempt being the superbly produced and acted movie "Mrs Brown". AfricaBrass
Jesus Christ, the King of Kings Oof! I should have said that. The sound you hear is me kicking myself.
jacman
film director King Vidor. tho most critics rip the majority of his films, one stands out head and ruby red slippers above the rest: The Wizard of Oz.
