Jim Alfredson
Go to pandora.com, type in organissimo, and get your organ-groove on!

GregN
Hey, this Pandora is intriguing. Do the artists get royalties for spins??

Jim Alfredson
How much? I've been loving Pandora via Squeezebox for a while now, as well as last.fm. I think we're on last.fm too. I don't know how much either pays per play. It ain't much.

They will show up on your royalty statement.
Quincy
Pretty happening times for organissimo. And well deserved!

GA Russell
Hey, this is great Jim! I had never gone to Pandora before. I thought you had to pay to subscribe to it. I typed in Organissimo, and the first song that came up was Wealthy Street. I've bookmarked it.
Jazzmoose
Sigh. Just another thing I'm missing from my computer right now, along with StumbleUpon, Firefox, heck, tons of stuff. You'd think I'd have more free time now...
BERIGAN
I was going to see if Pandora had been mentioned before, silly me, 4 different threads! Thought I might bring this thread back and give Jim and the fellers a few pennies at least! I "discovered" this site about 6 months ago, mentioned on a baseball forum of all things. I'd be curious to here how much it has evolved since people first found it. I have slowly added stations...at first just had a Bunny Berigan and Megadeth. Now I have Miff Mole, Jimmy Dorsey, Drain STH, Cranberries. Something for whatever mood I am in. Jazzwise, I haven't found anything yet I either didn't already have, or had to have, but strangely enough the Drain STH station(A Swedish all Girl hard rock band) has introduced me to some other female band(Or bands with a female lead singer) that I never heard of before. Seems like the perfect thing for folks that can listen to music at work, but don't want to bother with bringing their music in.... Ha, saw general discussion...didn't see where it was...no one will find this thread here!
Soulstation1
I guess my friend spelled organissimo wrong on his new Crackberry Storm the other day

Soulstation1
Used my money from birthday / Christmas and got an I-Phone. I like Pandora
GA Russell
I have a problem with Pandora. I like jazz vibes, particularly Cal Tjader. But they don't have him down as vibes but rather as Latin. So I can't hear Tjader there unless I am willing to hear a lot of Latin, which I am not. Ed S
I thought I was making a big discovery last night when I tried Organissimo in Pandora. I know Pandora doesn't always hit the target with their mix of similar artists/music - but I like what I've heard so far.
Ed S
"Tenderly" from This Is The Place playing right now on John Scofield Station. Sweet.
