The discussion about George Cables in another thread has reminded me this beautiful trio recording from 1991. George Cable with Cecil McBee on bass & Billy Hart on drums in one of the best trio recordings in my collection.

This is another opportunity to wish George Cables a speedy recovery.

I always especially liked the Ebony Moonbeams (I think that is the one) track, can't remember if this is

a Cables comp or not,

I guess I will just have to dig the CD out (much of my collection is packed right now)
