Hi Chris and thanks for posting. I will just talking with Jim Neumann (BeeHive Records) earlier this morning about Dick as he was trying to get Oberlin College to do something for him...which obviously is too late at this point. I know Jim was a fan of his so I sent the link to him. I called him as well....he's bummed!

There's going to be a memorial tribute concert for Richard tonight at St. Peter's in NYC, with numerous musicians and some jazz writers as well (Teachout, Morgenstern). I've posted a brief remembrance of my own on the Night Lights site.
