Brad
Oh, some of these look pretty awesome, Stu Williamson, Herbie Harper... forget that, they all look pretty darn good. I'll be emailing Hiroshi soon. Thanks Late.
Son-of-a-Weizen
Too bad they aren't including (as extras) the four additional quintet tracks (Stu's Dues Blues, Yarbird Suite, etc) that appeared on the earlier jewel box version of 'Stu Williamson Plays' (TOCJ-62003). Late
Weizen, maybe these Bethlehem reissues will contain bonus tracks — I'm really not sure. I only copy-and-pasted the track listing from the original vinyl editions (from the site linked above). Perhaps these new cd versions will have extras. Now that Japanese Blue Note discs contain bonus tracks, you never know!

Son-of-a-Weizen
Geez, they're really going all out by putting the shortest track (2:49) on there. I welcome the release, but 24:23 is a mighty short disc.

Son-of-a-Weizen
<<<Toshiba TOCJ 9383(Bethlehem)24 bit,New Candoli,Conte/Sincerely>>> Didn't really notice this title the first time I glanced at the list and think that it's one to add to the shopping cart. Have been listening to the Toshiba 10" vinyl for a couple of years now and it's a decent hard swinging (I'll Remember April ) session w/Candoli, Bennett, Levey & Williamson. A couple of spots during Candoli's solo on I Can't get Started With You where there's some brief (1 second) static (?) that sounds like it's high end mic distortion. While I've never heard it…my assumption is that the Fresh Sounds reissue of this has the same wrinkles? I'll be interested to see if they're able to do anything with this on the forthcoming remastered cd.

Have they been delayed?
Brad
I've put my order in for these new Bethlehem with Hiroshi and he didn't mention anything about delays. Of course, I've joined it with an order for the Argos that are not coming out until late January so I've won't be getting anything until then.
