marcello Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 One time Dizzy Gillespie gave a interview after "Dizzy's Party" was released and he said "I've made enough records for history!". Well, "Dizzy's Party" really sucked! Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted September 6, 2008 Author Report Posted September 6, 2008 Joe, you know we could make that record in a day. I gotz beatz, yo! Quote

Those would look AWESOME on my '99 Subaru wagon, don't ya think? Of course. Large oversized wheels will make anything look good. Oh, and the new up and coming fad seems to be advertising... I'll get my brushes and we can go to work. Quote

Van Basten II Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Kenny G has a tune titled sax-o-loco? Well, he looks a bit loco in this picture, don't you think? He has found a way of making a cover that is worse than his music... Quote
Jazzmoose Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 He has found a way of making a cover that is worse than his music... And we were convinced he had no talent! Quote
Soul Stream Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 I'd have to say congrats actually.... Robert Walter's record is below ya'lls, or hovering around it...and I'm sure he's an organist that has a lot more push from the record company and media. Also, there's some big money that's been put behind plenty of those records on that chart. And to have a self-financed, self-produced, done-in-your-basement CD competing is pretty awesome no matter what the chart is!!!!! Great going ya'll! Quote
youdig Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 Nice work ! Joey G Jimmy A Randy M When is the Michael Bolton and Organissimo album set to release. Quote

Ken Dryden Posted September 8, 2008 Report Posted September 8, 2008 (edited) I bet Live365 Smooth Jazz Radio will gobble up this CD: Details can be found at: http://www.allaboutjazz.com/php/article.php?id=28869 Edited September 16, 2008 by Ken Dryden Quote
Ken Dryden Posted September 16, 2008 Report Posted September 16, 2008 It's hard to take smooth jazz seriously, especially with all of the insipid cover photos of artists looking like total geeks. Quote
