catesta
I don't know of I changed settings or if this is some new function, but I don't like it. When I begin to type something into the search box is starts bringing up all kinds of possibilities in a box below. It's not search history just close matches. Example, if I start to type in this site... It will bring up organ organ tissue organ grinder...and eventually organissimo forums. I just want to be able to type my shit in, right or wrong and click search with out the extra assistance from Google. Can this function be turned off? 7/4
My first choice for organissimo is the band. Maybe you're searching for the other items more often?
Neal Pomea
Yeah, I believe this is new. Go to Google and click Preferences. Click Do not provide query suggestions in the search box.

Jazzmoose
Yeah, that showed up on this computer yesterday. A mind reading trick that doesn't work....just what I needed!
Chuck Nessa
The Google search bar on Firefox has done this for a while and I like it.
AndrewHill
Noticed that Ebay has a similar search engine.

BFrank
That's a feature that has been showing up in a lot of sites these days, so you should probably get used to it. You can still type in whatever you want and ignore the suggestions. BTW, anybody download "Chrome" today?
