Hey, I was hoping the Silver & Black's youngsters would surprise the Ponies, who weren't much of a threat last year--and I knew no one else would pick Oakland.

I really thought the Vikes would beat the Packers. I guess Tavaris still isn't ready for prime time.

I missed on 4 other picks, all of which were upsets I think.

I had a very long day yesterday, starting with a bloody Mary at 7am at the Rose Bowl, eating cheeseburgers and drinking beer until game time, watching the injury-depleted UCLA Bruins get their helmets handed to them by the lowly Arizona Wildcats, and concluding with beers until about 7pm whereupon I was in a drunken stupor and hardly able to function. Got home and slept like a log until 7am.

Thank you!! This is the first week I didn't read advice on the games before I picked them- I picked the games then read my Sports Weekly and SI, etc. Last week I changed 4 games I initially had right- and I lost because of my changes.

It would be nice to have more people sign up- with all the people on the BB you'd think there'd be more who want to play.
