Sign up now for the traditional NFL weekly pool for 2008!

Noj won last year. Edward won in 2006; and I won in 2005.

We just pick winners each week and tab them up after the Super Bowl. No fancy stuff here: over/unders, points, etc. If we get too complicated, people drop out over the course of the season.

Hope we get our regulars back again. Van B? SS1? Noj? Edward? Newcomers welcome of course. Somebody's got to stop Noj!

You can make your picks any time before this Thursday's game, which starts the season.

Good luck! :party:

I can do it on CBS Sportsline- I run a college BB pool and I'm in fantasy baseball and a pick-em NFL pool.

You have to sign up for CBS Sportsline and create an account to play.

It will track real time games- tied into the pool.

What rules do you want? I assume no money- just fun? No point spreads? Want to pick total points for MNF for tiebreakers?

Straight picks and no points.

We see who wins at the end of the season. You can do MNF points if you like but aren't there now two games that night? My feeling is that the more time consuming this becomes, the less likely that people will stick to it throughout the entire season. We need to keep things as simple as possible.

Can you please provide the account link for people to sign up.

Everyone okay with that?

I set it up as:

Picks are due 1 hr before 1st game- this can be changed- here are your options:

++++++++++

One hour before week's first game: If the first game is on a Sunday, you will have till Noon Eastern to make your selection. If there is a Thursday game, you have until 7:30pm Eastern.

One hour before day's first game: This setting will allow owners to make picks even if games have already started for the week. For example, if there is a Thursday night game and an owner did not realize it. He or She could still make picks for the remaining games. Of course they would not get points for the games that they have missed. The final deadline would be Noon on Sunday.

++++++++++

You won't see everyone's picks until the games start.

Live tracking is integrated with your picks.

You can make screen names (hiding your real name) and mask your email address.

I made my picks.

Let me know if you want any changes.
