Christiern Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 (edited) I woke up to this view from my bedroom window, so I thought I'd share. What is the first thing you see? (Perhaps I shouldn't ask!) Edited October 20, 2003 by Christiern Quote
couw Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 if I wake up in the middle of the night, it looks something like this: Quote
couw Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 if I sleep until early late morning AND if there's snow (which isn't the case at the moment), it looks like this: Quote
Christiern Posted October 20, 2003 Author Report Posted October 20, 2003 Great view, couw. Here's a winter shot from my living room. You can see the Citicorps, Chrysler, and Empire State buildings. Quote
couw Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 seems the NE German provincial city I live in is a bit smaller than New York! I bet several of our "huge" churches fit into those skyscrapers. Quote
vajerzy Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 This is a cool topic- I'll have to scan a picture.... Quote
RonF Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Very Cool! B) Wish I had a room with a view. Quote
Brad Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 Wish I had Chris' view. Since I live in the burbs (sort of, it's more country), I usually wake up to a lot of grass and deer nesting in the grass. It's very relaxin but not as invigorating as waking up in the city. Quote
Christiern Posted October 20, 2003 Author Report Posted October 20, 2003 Sounds good to me, Brad! Quote
couw Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 (edited) indeed! how about a picture of those Bambis grazing underneath your windowsill? Edited October 20, 2003 by couw Quote
catesta Posted October 20, 2003 Report Posted October 20, 2003 (edited) Not really. My view sucks, nothing but a parking lot and walls from the freeway. I'm moving to a historic neighborhood at the end of the month. Hopefully things will look better. Maybe I'll scan and post some pics of my view when I arrive at work.
