I got a daughter, and I'm sure many of y'all do too. Let's show some decency here, ok?

Unlike other threads (and signatures) where women are objectified here on the board, the pictures I posted seem (IMO) germane to the discussion in this thread- both the plastic-surgery lady and Madonna's daughter.

Mustaches on women is common in my family, just ask two of my sisters. One lucked out. :g

the one with or the one without?

Three sisters total, one didn't have the problem, so I guess you would say she was lucky.

No matter, it didn't seem to seem to stop the boys from calling. Of course it's not like I'm talking about fu-manchus either. Just a little hair above the lip in the corners. Both had it taken care when they were older as I'm sure the junior Madonna will.

I agree with Jim. Going after Madonna's daughter is tacky. Like her mother, Lourdes is Italian American and excess facial hair is a common complaint among Mediterranian woman. Check out Madonna's high school pick above. She had some serious eyebrows going on herself. If anything, she's to be commended for not insisting that her daughter pluck and wax to satisfy some WASPy feminine ideal (like her mother, she'll probably wait until she's old enough to move out).

I know it's a common joke to bash Madonna for her talent or lack thereof, but you know what? She's been doing what she does for almost thirty years now. If she was the no-talent everybody thinks she is, she never would have made it past her second album. Clearly, she's doing SOMETHING right because people still buy her records. It's not my thing. My wife owns several of her albums, and there are things I like better than others (I think "Hard Candy" is horrible, mainly because Madonna is just getting too old to pander to the kids), but on the whole I respect her for her talent for staying in the game.

Wait a second...she's popular because of her "music"?

Come on...you're yankin' my chain!

I know what you're saying, but lets get it right....

Madonna is only half Italian, so the little girl is 25% at best. Which of course is still better than nothing. :P

I do believe the girl's father is from Cuba or at least his family is, so that would explain the darker complexion and a possible contribution to the hair.

Yeah, those cubans have too much hair. I guess Miss Ciccone smokes Cohiba too.

Also, looks like her friend has a moustache.

That's her daughter Lourdes. :P Looks like she has a Frida Kahlo unibrow thing going on too.

Looks like she'll have a lifetime of waxing multiple parts of her anatomy ... seriously, is the father some man-ape? Poor kid.

Is this Madonna's adoped daughter or her love child with Ron Jeremy?

Up over and out.

At least she hasn't gone this far yet...

Check out the photo from the '70s, before the plastic surgery- she's pretty!!!

Uh ... no she most definitely isn't. :bad:

She's 50 in August. She looks pretty damn good for someone who's turning 50 in less than a month.

You must hang with a really ugly crowd.

What a friggin' insult to women 50 and better.

My wife is over 50 and looks much better than Madonna, no plastic surgery, no personal trainer, no hours a day available to workout, etc.

Who or what is THIS?? (or is THAT a better word....) :excited:

Seriously- I don't know.

Follow the link a few posts up ... if you dare. I'm going to have nightmares now.

I feel sorry for this person. She has been badly butchered. ... Terrible.

Beauty is at least as much about being comfortable in your own skin as it is about any physical attributes.

What's sad is that she has apparently chosen to deliberately alter her look, to become less "human" looking. So I don't know if "butchered" is quite the right word - it wasn't a plastic surgery gone wrong.

Otherwise I agree with you.

I don't think butchered is the right word either, though you can certainly question the professional ethics of a plastic surgeon who agrees to attempt to make a client more "feline". Seems to me anyone in the profession should be obligated not to perform surgery but to refer the patient to a competent therapist.

I agree with Dan here. The surgeons involved should have backed off and referred her for CBT or similar. Very sad. Also I'd say , lay off Madonna's daughter , not kind, unfair and unworthy of this forum.
