mmilovan Posted July 25, 2008 Report Posted July 25, 2008 Flurin, as for DVD it is not necessary to go that low (also it can cause some problem), so try 8X or 10X! But with audio CDRs (only audio CDRs, not data) it is other way round: made some exhaustive tests with various hi-fi, semi-pro, pro, hometheatre units and portable discman. While recorded audio CDR 4X and 8X were readable everywhere (recorded on various media: Verbatim, but many noname or cheap/crappy blanks as well), it was not the case with 16X, almost always caused problems with (you wouldn't believe) pro units, then with some very old standalone CD players, and finally - with my discman. king ubu Posted July 25, 2008 Author Report Posted July 25, 2008 Well, so far all the discs were readable (and my discman also had problems sometimes with discs burned at 8X). Will see... Quote
