I'm well used to the Irish "summer" by now, it's very similar to all the other seasons, but, after having lived in the USA for a couple of years, I can assure you there is nothing there I would be jealous of. In fact, unless you're from a Third World nation there is very little to be jealous of at all.

I just listened to "At the Five Spot" vols. I & II (K2 and RVG respectively) and initially I was critical of Mal's out-of- tune piano, but I now agree that it adds a certain "live" and "in-the-moment" kind of feeling to the date. I actually dig it a lot more now then with previous listenings.

BTW: Far Cry is another great date if it hasn't been mentioned already .
